ImoInvest has a small number of projects readily available. ImoInvest knows each of these projects very well and advertises them because it believes that they can be lucrative, upmarket projects. Most projects allow for a combination of various types of development: from condos with residential and tourist properties to larger resorts which also include hotels and timeshare developments. They are all located in areas with easy access to international airports. As most projects are located in areas for expansion in the tourism industry, planning will normally take up to 3 years. Some projects are already fully licensed and can be started immediately.
Brazil is subdivided into five areas. The south, the southeast, the northeast, the central west and the Amazons.
The first three have coastal areas, whereas the northeast and the southeast are arguably the most attractive for upmarket property development. The south has some nice coastlines but can be colder and is not procured as much for holiday and weekend destinations by foreigners due to its distance from Europe and North America. The northeast has beautifully coastlines and is closest to Europe and North America. The southeast is closer to the financially influential areas of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, therefore attracting a larger amount of local investment.
The northeast combines the best of two worlds. Some of the most stunning coastlines, bays and marine life are found along these shores. This part of the country is increasingly being developed by European, American, Middle Eastern and Brazilian developers. Due to very strict control by the authorities, nature is largely being preserved in its original condition, leaving truely beautiful sceneries and as a result upmarket developments. The tendency is to continue in this direction and make the northeast an ever more sought after holiday destination.
The southeast is rich in history, natural beauty and wealth. With Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo located within its borders, it is the richest part of the country. Both the wealthy local population as well as foreign property buyers are attracted by its immense beauty, cultural history and proximity to the main cities. The weather is good most part of the year, the coastal areas are easily accessible and the property prices are considerably higher then elsewhere in the country.
On the client's request and meeting client's indications, ImoInvest will procure specific objects throughout Brazil. This will be done in combination with market specific research as to match the project with the intended customer for the development. |
